University and Estates and Facilities Health and Safety policies are designed to ensure safe working practices whilst projects are being undertaken on site. 

Mechanical and Engineering standards specify how systems and services are designed to ensure efficient operation and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) can be carried out effectively. 

Other standard specifications detail the standards and requirements expected of new design work. 

If you are employed by Estates and Facilities, either as staff, consultant or contractor, these are the documents which apply to you when carrying out projects.
