  • 2007-2010 ESRC funded project: "The overall impact of HEIs on local economies" (in collaboration with Prof. Peter McGregor, Strathclyde University, Scotland)
  • 2007- 2009 Spanish Government grant for the project "Quality of life and urban size" (in collaboration with Dr. Vicente Royuela Mora, University of Barcelona, Spain)
  • 2005-2010 HEFCE funded project: "Human capital, career management skills and graduate destinations" (in collaboration with Dr. Zella King, University of Reading, England)

Biographical notes

Alessandra Faggian is currently Reader in Economic Geography. She recently joined the School of Geography, at the University of Southampton in 2007.
