Anastasios Argyropoulos is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Implementation Science – Wessex Academic Health Science Network, within Health Sciences, University of Southampton. Anastasios is interested in the use of data science methodologies for modelling, prediction and development of healthcare technologies.

Data-driven prediction technologies can help shape the future by improving patient treatment throughout the NHS

Anastasios Argyropoulos joined Health Science in 2017 as a Research Fellow. Previously, he worked as an Associate Research Fellow at the Environment and Sustainability Institute (College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences) at the University of Exeter.

Anastasios’ work focuses on data analytics and the development of healthcare technologies aiming to optimise patient diagnosis and treatment both directly (prediction model development), and indirectly (data analysis and visualisation).

As a member of the Centre for Implementation Science (CIS) he also leads and provides ongoing support to various local and national projects and programmes with the Wessex Academic Health Science Network (AHSN).
