Hi, I'm Elizabeth Fairman and I studied Bachelor of Nursing, Adult Branch within Health Sciences at the University of Southampton.

I knew Southampton was one of the best Universities for nursing and that’s why I chose to come here. The experience of working in practice has allowed me to grow in confidence and helped me to communicate with lots of different types of people.

I've just finished three years of study and I undertook all my placements in Southampton.

I've just secured a job at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester in the intensive care unit which is really exciting.  I did my placement in the unit where I'm now working which definitely helped me secure the role - they really like to know you've got experience in this environment as it's so different to any of the other wards.

My plan is to come back here and complete a Masters in critical care.
