Wessex HIEC

We are proactively helping to transform health and social care services, working practices and care pathways in our region through innovation, quality improvements, increased productivity, affordability and personalisation.

This programme is about ensuring future service sustainability through improving value for money while enhancing quality. From testing new ideas and technologies to attracting funding support for local developments in health and social care, our long term goals are about getting the best quality for the best value. The partnership will promote proven innovations and share knowledge quickly and effectively.

Forty-one organisations have joined together to help share innovation and realise the future of health and social care. Four main workstreams will work on supporting care closer to home, telehealthcare, getting the best out of public health and improving the use of simulation training.

The HIEC Knowledge Programme enables people in health and care organisations learn from one another and from local, national and international innovative practice.  A key focus will be sharing key messages in accessible formats, as well as providing forums for people to share development knowledge and practice.
