Congratulations to Dr Jo Adams who is part of a team (with the universities of Bristol, Oxford and Exeter) that has been awarded a £1.9m NIHR Programme grant award for ‘Chronic pain after total knee replacement: better post-operative prevention and management (the STAR Programme)’. The research will begin in August 2015. Jo’s involvement played a part of the grant being awarded and she will be providing the expert OT input for the team.

Dr Sarah Demain and the SM:VOICED research team have recently had a paper published in PLOS-ONE: ‘Self-Management and Self-Management Support Outcomes: A Systematic Review and Mixed Research Synthesis of Stakeholder Views’.
