Stimulating interest through exploration

Health Sciences have an excellent reputation in the region for giving opportunities to young people to spark a passion for discovery and inspire a lifelong interest in health and social care.

We spread the message about the rewarding careers in healthcare to schools and colleges in Southampton, Portsmouth, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, by visiting careers fairs and inviting young people to come and see our impressive facilities for themselves.

Find out more about nursing and midwifery?

Health sciences hold open sessions for those interested in nursing and midwifery courses throughout the year and are a good opportunity to ask questions to staff and students. They are run as an informal drop in so no booking is necessary.
