Expertise Recognised

Published: 25 June 2013

Five Humanities lecturers have been recognised for their achievements in education.

Dr Veronica Spencer (Film), Ali Dickens (LLAS) and Julie Watson (e-learning) have been awarded Senior Fellowships of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and Kate Borthwick (LLAS) and Erika Corradini (LLAS) are now Fellows.

The awards have been made by the University’s Professional Recognition of Educator Practice board (PREP) which supports staff development and is a route for accreditation against the UK Professional Standards Framework.

Dr Eleanor Quince, who is herself a Senior Fellow, has acted as mentor for the PREP scheme, and supported the latest candidates.
