Part of the Humanities 2016-2017 Inaugural Lecture series.
'The Bottleneck Hypothesis of Second Language Acquisition'
This talk will discuss second language acquisition as a cognitive process. The Bottleneck Hypothesis identifies which parts of the new grammar are difficult to acquire and need extra attention and practice in the classroom.
This lecture will be chaired by Dr Laura Domínguez.
