Award success for IfLS PhD student Patricia Goggin

Winner of 2017 Science Image Competition, Tissue and Cell Engineering Society (TCES)

Patricia, a PhD student jointly funded by IfLS and FEE, is working on her PhD project on a correlative light, X-ray, and electron microscopy framework for 3D bone imaging at the cell level across the lifecourse.

Throughout 2017 Patricia has won several awards including:

2017: Travel Award, International Bone Densitometry Workshop (IBDW) and 7th European Symposium on Ultrasonic Characterization of Bone (ESUCB)
2017: Best Poster Award, International Bone Densitometry Workshop (IBDW) and 7th European Symposium on Ultrasonic Characterization of Bone (ESUCB)
2017: Winner of 2017 Science Image Competition, Tissue and Cell Engineering Society (TCES)
