Mr Spiros Papadas

Background

 

Spiros Papadas is a graduate of the University of Southampton LLM Maritime Law (Dist) in 2014, and his undergraduate studies took place in Greece, in Democritus University of Thrace, where he completed his Law Degree (2:1) in 2012.

Spiros joined the Institute as a Senior Research Assistant in October 2016. He is currently working on the STM Project, within Activity 5, and his main workload is on assessing the legal compliance of the project with international framework. Previously, he has worked for a law firm in Athens, dealing mainly with Greek Public and Administrative Law, and he is a member of the Athens Bar Association. Finally, he has participated in Telders International Law Moot Court Competition in 2011 and in IMLAM in 2014.

 

Research Interests

Carriage of Goods, Marine Insurance, International Trade, Admiralty, New Technologies and Maritime Law.
