IML Director Professor Mikis Tsimplis delivers a paper at the Unmanned Maritime Systems Conference

Yesterday our Director Professor Mikis Tsimplis participated in, and delivered a paper, at the Unmanned Maritime Systems Conference held in Berlin Germany.

Yesterday at the Unmanned Maritime Systems Conference titled 'Unmanned Maritime Systems – A Key Enabling Technology for the 21st Century Navy' IML Director Professor Mikis Tsimplis delivered a paper titled “Towards an international regulatory framework for UMVs”. The conference was held over one day on 29th October in Berlin, Germany and was co-organised by the European Defence Agency and EuroDefense - Deutschland. Professor Tsimplis took part in Panel 3 which looked at 'Challenges facing the wider adoption of Unmanned Maritime Systems'. The chair of this panel was Peter Round, Director Capabilities, Armaments and Technology EDA.
