Wherever you are in the world, you apply for an Undergraduate degree in the UK through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS).
The UCAS website contains advice and step-by-step guidance through the online application process.
Application deadlines
- UK and EU students must submit their application to UCAS by 15 January.
- If you are an international student from outside the UK or EU, we may consider your application up until 30 June. However, we cannot guarantee there will be vacancies on our courses after the UCAS January deadline, so we advise you to apply as early as possible and to check with the University that there are vacancies still available when you apply.
- Applicants interested in Medicine must submit their application to UCAS by 15 October.
We recommend that you apply well before the UCAS deadline because entry to our courses is very competitive and places fill up quickly. It is possible and advisable to apply early during your last year at secondary school, even before you obtain your final results. You should also make sure that you can provide a relevant English language test certificate. Two letters of recommendation from your tutors and a good Statement of Purpose are also required.
