Our entry requirements vary from course to course, and depend on whether you are applying to a Foundation Year, Undergraduate Degree or Postgraduate Programme.
Each Academic Grouping sets its own entrance requirements, and you will usually be required to attain required grades, which are listed on the course pages. Admissions tutors will be happy to advise you on international entry requirements for their courses.

The University of Southampton recognises that situations beyond the control of the student sometimes means that you cannot arrive for the welcome week. While we try to be as flexible as possible, various courses run essential programmes in the first few weeks which means that late entrants cannot be accommodated.
Please see below the list of last start dates available for postgraduate taught programmes in the various faculties. If you are arriving late please ensure to check with your postgraduate administrator first.
