Your account
As a member of the University you will be entitled to a computing account. Your computing account consists of a username and password which will give you access to the wide range of computing facilities and application tools, provided by the University, to support your work. Your log-in access allows us to monitor use of our services and, more importantly, ensures that we provide a secure working environment for you.
In addition to log-in access to various computing facilities, your computing account will include an email address and an allocation of filestore, disk storage space to allow you to store email, web pages and data files on a central server.
This account is for your use only and you should not allow anyone else to access our facilities using your account nor should you give out your password to anyone..
