New accounts

Once you have received your University ID number, you can create your computing account using the web-based self-registration program Subscribe. You can create your account from any networked PC on campus or from any PC attached to the Internet. Make sure you have your University ID number available as you will be asked to provide this when you enter the Subscribe system.

When you have created your account, you will be provided with a username and password as well as an email address and an allocation of filestore to store your email messages, data files and any web pages you may create. Your new account will be ready to use after one hour and it is your responsibility to keep it secure at all times, and to manage your email account and filestore allocation efficiently.

In addition to the access permitted by your own account, your work may require you to access to certain University administrative systems (Enterprise Systems)- a separate application is required for these services. A separate application may be required if your School or department wish you to have access to the Exchange service.
