Forgotten passwords
If you have forgotten your iSolutions password, Subscribe allows you to change your password even though you do not know your current one, providing you can answer one of the two security questions you set in Subscribe.
Please open a web browser (for example Internet Explorer) and enter the web address www.subscribe.iss.soton.ac.uk in the address bar and press enter.
If you do not have access via your personal computer, you can access the following through logging onto a public workstation with the username "subscribe" leaving the password field blank.

- Click on the 'Forgotten your password' option
- This will take you to the 'Forgotten your password' webpage:
- Enter your University Student or Staff Number in the University Identity Number box.
- Enter your Surname, your Day and Month of Birth.
- Click Next.
- Read and accept the terms of service.
- Enter the answer to the security question and click next.
- Click the drop down box 'Show password'.
- Make a note of your new password.
- Click quit to then complete the process and to log out of Subscribe.
After 15 minutes it is recommended that you follow the process of resetting your password, and change your password to something more memorable. For help changing your password please see this page for more information.
