Updates to Blog and Wiki functionality in Blackboard
Following an upgrade to Blogs and Wikis on Blackboard the following new features and functionality are now available.
Wikis
Group Wikis
When creating a group wiki you have more control over what non-group wiki members may do. If you wish you can allow them to view the wiki after a certain date and time and then allow them to view, write, or delete comments. This is useful in peer review.
Recycle Wikis
You may wish to clear out all posts to a wiki, without removing the wiki itself. This can be particularly useful if you have rolled over course materials to a new academic year and wish to clear out the wiki materials that were added in the previous year.
Blogs
Group and Personal Blogs
Personal blogs are now simpler to set up. Rather than having to select specific date restrictions to make personal blogs private, it is now possible to choose exactly whether you want to create a group or personal blog.
