How to create a Test or Survey in Blackboard
It is possible to create online tests or surveys in your Blackboard course. Blackboard is recommended for formative testing only. For summative testing please refer to the CAA web pages for details of the Perception service.Enter Control Panel
1. Access your course's Control Panel.
Access the Test or Survey Manager
2. To create a test click on the Test Manager. To create a survey click on Survey Manager. In the example shown here a test will be created. Both work in the same way. A test receives a score at the end, while surveys do not carry marks.
Add Test
3. Click on Add Test.
Test Information
4. Enter a name, description, and instructions for the test.
Test Canvas
5. You will arrive at the Test Canvas.
From here you can add a question by selecting the question type you wish to add from the drop down menu and click on Go.
You can use the Creation Settings button to change the way amount of detail used in the test.
