Tasks can assist you in identifying, organizing, planning and prioritizing your day to day activities.

A task is a personal or work-related errand you want to track through to completion. A task can occur once or repeatedly. A recurring task can repeat at regular intervals or repeat based on the date you mark the task complete.

In Outlook, you can manage your own tasks as well as track the tasks that you assign to other people.

There are three main locations where you can view and manipulate tasks: Outlook Today, the Tasks folder, and the Taskpad in certain Calendar views.
