Clear Labelling
all items of equipment (DVD players, PC, laptop cables, etc.) are clearly labelled to ensure that you can quickly and easily get yourself going.
Instructions and user guides
Easy to use instructions and user guides are provided at the lectern bench or presenting area and clearly and simply take you through the tasks involved in using the presentation equipment. Other labelling and signage defines the different pieces of equipment so that you can set up quickly and easily.
Please note that some legacy rooms that have not yet been refurbished will not contain the iSolutions User Guides, but may have their own from their previous 'owners'.

In most of the Common Learning Spaces are phones, either on the lectern bench or nearby. Please contact ServiceLine to report your query, Monday to Friday, between 8:30 and 18:00. Calls made to ServiceLine will receive email confirmation and a follow-up email upon resolution.
If appropriate, a technician will aim to attend within 15 minutes of your call to rectify the issue for you. While this may not always be possible, we aim to ensure this in 90% of all calls. In the case of an equipment failure that the technician is unable to rectify, a temporary solution will be put into place as quickly as possible. Depending upon the complexity of the issue, this may take more than 15 minutes. If rooms are required to be removed from service for scheduled maintenance, this will be notified through the Central Timetabling Unit. For urgent unscheduled issues, notice will be provided through the Central Timetabling Unit and via other notices.
Meet and greet service
Booked in advance through ServiceLine, we can offer a meet and greet service to assist with setting up presentations where necessary. A projection service may also be available, where a technician remains to support the session in its entirety.

If you are unsure about using the equipment and would like a member of our Coaching and Training Services team to spend a short session taking you through it all on a one-to-one basis, please contact ServiceLine to book an appropriate time.
