Chip–and–pin instructions

  1. Insert card in chip and pin unit.
  2. At the Enter Account Name and Password screen, enter your University username and password.
  3. Press login button.
  4. At the 'Verify your Name' screen, confirm your details.
  5. At the 'Enter Cash to Reload your Account' screen, press receipt box and then press the grey box on the right-hand side called "press here for a chip/pin reload".
  6. At the 'Select Amount to Reload' screen, put in amount to be added in the Reload box, or select a preset amount on the left-hand side of screen. Please note: minimum deposit £4, maximum account value is £25.
  7. The chip-and-pin terminal will request your pin number; put in pin number and press enter.
  8. Wait for authorisation (5-10 seconds).
  9. Device displays "approved, please remove card".
  10. The final screen will show your original balance and the new balance with the credit added.

DO NOT FORGET TO REMOVE YOUR CARD.
