The 6th annual meeting of the Computational Modelling Group

The Computational Modelling Group brings together researchers and students from many different disciplines at the University of Southampton.

This year annual meeting features a lecture by Professor of Computational Modelling Hans Fangohr. Steve Crouch from Software Sustainability Institute will talk about Software Carpentry and Data Carpentry initiatives. Dr Oz Parchment will reveal plans about Iridis Next-Gen Supercomputer. Finalists of the Iridis Student Project Contest will present on their work.

The 6th annual meeting of the Computational Modelling Group takes place on Friday 31 March 2017, 09:30 – 16:00, at the Nuffield Theatre on Highfield campus. All staff and PhD students are welcome to attend this event and registration is available here: Register for event

In afternoon session we will look into details on how to manage Research Data and Scientific Codes and how to use Clouds for your research. Come ready to listen and feel free to bring along a laptop.
