Implementation of feature requests on the SAS

Add CTU Servers to Exchange Datacentre Connector

The Exchange connectors that control client rules for SMTP connection will be updated for the Clinical Trials Unit project to allow the CTU servers to send email unauthenticated.

B25 network shutdown affecting faceplates starting BJ

Networking equipment in B25 affecting users with faceplates starting with BJ will be shut down in order to increase the current networking rack capacity.

Install power for CTU rack in B54

A power supply from UPS A will be installed so that the Clinical Trial rack has resilient power via a static transfer switch. This switch already has a supply from UPS B.

Increase MAPI properties quota on Exchange database

An issue has been identified on two of the Exchange databases where a limit in their tables has been reached. The limit will be extended on these databases to resolve the issue and will be applied to all remaining databases as a preventative measure.

Update Exchange 2007 Servers with latest Service Pack

The latest service pack will be installed on the Exchange 2007 servers as ongoing maintenance for the Exchange email infrastructure,

Move cluster resources off Exchange server and power down in preparation for DIMM replacement

Banner Production System outage

A backup copy of Banner Production is required before the monthly release is implemented, and then a post-implementation copy for use for cloning purposes.

Electrical supply swapover in B54 Level 1

In order to maintain the declared minimal IT service delivery to the university for the Easter 2010 electrical shutdown, temporary electrical services will be provided in the B54 L1 & L3 Data Centre to maintain power to the Telephony exchange and some fire alarm systems, and to remove the requirement for additional portable air conditioning.
