LATEU is involved in a wide range of activities that support quality assurance or quality enhancement at an institutional level. This section includes details of our work in these themed areas:
Assessment
The Assessment Review Working Group has carried out an audit of assessment and feedback practice in Schools, and written a paper highlighting and sharing good practice and points for action.
ADEP: The Academic Administration Enhancement Programme
The Academic Administration Enhancement Programme (ADEP) embraces a number of projects, each covering a topic within the student lifecycle.
Employer Engagement
The University's Employer Engagement project, funded for two years by HEFCE aims to increase employer engagement in HE and to focus in particular on the development and delivery of programmes co-funded by employers. It will engage employers more closely in the identification and expansion of professional development opportunities, primarily at Masters level.
International Students
Information, guidance and resources which those with responsibility for supporting international students in different ways may find helpful. There are a set of guidelines about facilitating their transition to UK HE and a link to a 20-minute video on "The International Student Experience".
Technology Enhanced Learning
This section outlines the support available from LATEU and other professional services for Schools and individual tutors who wish to develop their use of learning technologies. There are links to guidance, resources and case studies.
