Online Resources
The University has licenced four training videos from ScottBradbury, which you can watch online once you have registered on their website.
- Go to the ScottBradbury StreamLearning website: http://video.scottbradbury.co.uk/soton/
- Click on the 'Click here to register' link
- Fill in the form and click the 'Create my account' button. Do not choose the same password as your University password, and make a note of it so you can find it later. You can use your username or full name for the email, but remember which you chose e.g. zs1s09@soton.ac.uk or Z.Smith@soton.ac.uk
- They will send you an email containing a link which you must click to activate your account. Note that this has to go to your name@soton.ac.uk email account, not to Hotmail or Yahoo etc.
- You will then be able to log in to the website using your email name and the password you chose.
Approach with caution! These videos were made for the corporate sector and at first sight may not appear relevant to the academic setting. However, the messages they contain and the issues they raise do offer useful insights and food for thought for anyone who is working with others. So, please view with an open mind. |
