Nomination Forms & Guidance Notes
Vice Chancellor's Teaching Awards
The Vice Chancellor’s Teaching Awards are annual awards made to individuals or small teams who have demonstrated a particularly high standard of “teaching”. “Teaching” here refers not simply to classroom/lecture theatre/lab teaching, but any activity that has a positive impact upon the student learning experience.
There are two types of award and there are separate guidance notes and nomination forms for each:
- VC Teaching Awards: Each school selects up to 1 award winner per year from WITHIN their school
- Additional VC Teaching Award: Up to 1 award winner is selected per year from applicants who may not be eligible for an award from a School e.g. staff within a professional service or with cross university activities.
