Enhancing the Employability of Our Students

Employability is a key theme of the University’s Learning and Teaching Enhancement Strategy and staff are encouraged to consider it in all aspects of their teaching. It should be noted that LTES key themes are used as criteria when considering University teaching awards and funding.

This workshop will look at issues around developing student employability through the curriculum at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Participants will have an opportunity to:

  • Learn about the work being done in the University to promote employability
  • See examples of good practice from the faculties
  • Experience some of the materials developed by the HEA and others for academic staff to use

Level 2: for any teaching staff including postgraduate research student supervisors
