Performance in Public Speaking
This whole-day course is designed to ensure the impact of delivery matches that of the intention of the message and to form a positive and lasting impression. Participants will:
- Practise techniques to calm nerves and develop a positive mental attitude
- Look at ways of understanding and matching an audience mood
- Discover how relaxation, breathing and vocal exercises can improve projection, clarity and reduce vocal strain
- Look at the effects of posture and gesture on you and your audience
Level 1: for any teaching staff wishing to improve their skills in public speaking.
