Using Zappers for Learning and Feedback
This event explores the use of zappers (a handheld electronic voting system) to add interactivity to large lectures and provide students with individual feedback on their learning.
In the morning (10.00 – 12.00) we will look at some case studies that show how the use of zappers can enhance learning. The afternoon (2.00 – 4.00) will provide hands-on training in the use of the Turning Point software to develop, deliver and analyse question slides.
There will also be a drop-in session over lunch (12.30 – 1.30) to provide a general introduction to Turning Point zappers – no need to book.
Level 1: for all teaching staff.
