Internationalisation of the Curriculum

The UoS is aware of its place in an international HE sector, with a large number of international students and staff, and many graduates who will seek employment outside the UK. We acknowledge the need to enhance and increase engagement at all levels to optimise benefits to the institution, and to its staff and students. There are two key aspects: ‘the creation of a diverse learning community, in which students can interact with a wide range of staff and peers from diverse cultures and backgrounds; and the development of a curriculum appropriate to life and work in a world with an increasingly global economy and society’.

On-going development work on internationalisation of the curriculum and the issues affecting this (such as Bologna) is led by Dr Bill Brooks (Associate Dean of LASS and University Director of Education). For more details please contact LATEU.
