International links

At Southampton Law School our global reputation for academic excellence ensures we are continually strengthening our links with other universities and organisations around the world.

We are involved in a wide range of partnerships and activities including research contracts, staff and student exchanges, and teaching collaborations. Our staff are internationally recognised for their work at the forefront of their fields and many have lived, worked and studied abroad.

We have strong links with more than 25 countries including Canada, the USA, Singapore, Malaysia, Greece, Cyprus, Australia, Norway, Hong Kong and China. Our LLB degree is accredited for practice in a wide variety of countries and many of our former staff and students have gone on to gain top legal roles across the world.

The welfare of our overseas students is of primary importance to us and we are experienced at dealing with their needs. Our staff regularly travel overseas to meet potential students and we also have representatives in many countries who can help with applications.

Once you are in Southampton we offer a comprehensive range of support services to ensure you have all the support you need as you settle into your new life in Southampton.

“The most valuable experiences in my time here emerged from the opportunities to meet and form bonds with people from several different walks of life through life at halls, in school and out of the classroom.”
