Here at Southampton Law School many of our staff are involved in shaping global policy and national and international legislation and our Institute of Maritime Law (IML) is the biggest provider of professional training for the maritime legal industry in the world.

The Law School has a long standing tradition and a strong commitment to provide professional training across a broad spectrum of legal disciplines. An outstanding example of such commitment is the IML which provides short courses, a full programme of conferences and seminars, tailor-made modules and events, as well as an in-house bespoke masters degree in conjunction with the Southampton Business School.
