Academic journal edited by ILAWS member recognised for its influence

Professor Steve Saxby

Leading academic journal Computer Law and Security Review (CLSR) has now achieved second place in the Google Scholar rankings for Technology Law Publications worldwide, an honour that reflects the visibility and influence of recent articles in its pages.

Professor Steve Saxy of the Institute for Law and the Web (ILAWS) at the Southampton Law School founded CLSR in 1985 and is its Editor-in-Chief. "I am delighted at this recognition for the cutting edge research into aspects of Internet and technology law covered in the journal over the last 30 years.  It is also the only journal in the technology Law field worldwide, to have been selected by Thomson Reuters for indexing and abstracting in the Web of Science."

In 2013 more than 160,000 papers in CLSR were downloaded by subscribers to ScienceDirect from more than 100 countries.

Scholars wishing to submit articles should contact Steve at s.j.saxby@soton.ac.uk
