Simmons and Simmons host Law School Alumni event
Over 80 Law School Alumni from the 1960’s through to 2013 attended an evening event last week kindly hosted by Simmons and Simmons at their London Office.
Judges, Barristers, Law firm Partners, Company Directors, solicitors and trainees from a wide range of organisations mingled and reminisced with academic staff from the Law School in the convivial surroundings of this world class international law firm.
1981 Southampton Alumnus and Senior Partner at Simmons and Simmons, Colin Passmore welcomed the Alumni and spoke very warmly of his time at Southampton.
Professor Natalie Lee (also an Alumna) responded on behalf of the Law School and thanked Colin and Simmons and Simmons for hosting this annual event.
She updated the guests on recent developments in the School as well as the careers of many of the current and former Law School academics. This generated many memories, shared experiences and even more discussions amongst the Alumni!
