We are very pleased to share the news that two graduates from the Law School have recently had articles published in international, peer-reviewed journals.

Nedim Malovic, a former LLB student at the Law School, has produced an article on women’s reproductive rights, which has been published in the Human Rights Law Review. The article, titled ‘Access to Abortion Services in the Council of Europe: A Critical Analysis of Women’s Reproductive Rights’ reviews women’s reproductive rights in light of recent jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights. Nedim completed his LLB with the Law School before starting his Masters degree in European Intellectual Property Law at Stockholm University, where he is currently studying.

Kevin Bercimuelle-Chamot has had an article on a French copyright decision regarding a photograph of Jimi Hendrix published in the Journal of Intellectual Property Law & Practice. ‘The party claiming copyright infringement in a photograph must first prove its originality’ discusses the case of Société Bowstir and GM v EgoTrade SARL. Following the completion of his Master 1 at the University of Southampton, Kevin is now studying for his Master 2 in Intellectual Property Law at Lumiére University Lyon II.
