Four undergraduate students from the Law School have gained places to attend the International Summer programme at the George Washington University this summer. Jess-Aria Nown and Zaki Salad are currently in their first year of study at Southampton Law School and joined us through our ‘Pathways to Law’ programme. They will by joined by Rabab Zulfukar and Caitlin Ahern who are in their second year of study and joined us through the Access to Southampton (A2S) scheme.

George Washington University is the largest private university in Washington, DC and has over 25,000 students. The Summer school is held annually and the students will be focusing primarily on an introduction to the study of comparative politics. This will include governance in the United States and other selected countries, together with opportunities to tour the US capital, meet with members of The World Bank and connect with multinational corporations.
