LLM challenge competition final at Southampton Law School

In the Law School, on the evening of Wednesday 7th December, two teams of LLM students competed in the Final Round of the LLM Challenge with both staff and students attending the event.

The Final Round was judged by Professor Brenda Hannigan (Head of School), Professor Hazel Biggs and Filip Saranovic who were impressed by the energy, commitment and teamwork of the students. The winners of the competition were Team 8 who convincingly argued against the proposition that embargoes and sanctions are the only effective means of enforcement of the global order.

The presentations were followed by the LLM Christmas party where students and staff enjoyed live festive music, food and drinks. Professor Filippo Lorenzon (Director of the LLM Programmes) took to the stage to congratulate all the students who had participated in the LLM Challenge.
