Law School PhD student obtains funding for “Generation Tagged” workshop

PhD student for the Southampton Law School, Emma Nottingham, alongside her academic colleagues, has received funding from the British & Irish Law Education & Technology Association (BILETA) to host a workshop entitled: 'Have ‘Generation Tagged’ lost their privacy?

The consultation workshop will discuss the legislative, regulatory and ethical framework surrounding the depiction of young children on digital, online and broadcast media. The event takes place at the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies on Wednesday 7 June 2017, 11am – 4pm and will be attended by a range of academics, policymakers, Law Commissioners and media representatives.
