She is currently doing a research on the data privacy and security of electronic payment system in Malaysia. Since the law on personal data protection is still new in the country, there is a need for a critical analysis on the adequacy of protection given by the government to consumers who opt for electronic payment system and this includes the protection for privacy of information given while using the system.

Thus, her research seeks to analyse critically the barriers and legal issues pertaining to e-payment system by discussing the law on personal data privacy in Malaysia and comparing it with the law in several developed countries.
