The University of Southampton
Southampton Law School

Stimulating range of opportunities

At Southampton you will enjoy high levels of support and you will have the chance to really get to know the staff who teach you.

Alongside excellent teaching in the academic subjects that make up law, innovative events such as Team Building at the beginning of the first year and the Employability Skills Programme in the second year, we will aim to equip you with the skills that you will need to become highly employable.

Peer Assisted Support Scheme at Southampton Law School

The School prides itself on creating an inclusive and approachable environment and nurtures this by offering a mentoring scheme for incoming students. There are over 30 second, third or final year Law School students from the whole range of undergraduate law programmes, available to help new students get to know the university and the city.

The mentors and students will meet during the new students first year induction, and are responsible for arranging regular meetings with their groups, and providing informal support with the academic and social aspects of settling in to university life and the law school.

For me the University of Southampton was the best place to study for a whole variety of reasons. Most importantly the programme is a qualifying law degree that is recognised across the Commonwealth.
