There are a wealth of relevant and stimulating opportunities on offer for students willing to engage with the course beyond their reading lists.

Though only a third of the way through my studies, I can confidently say that LLB Law at Southampton is a deeply rewarding degree for those with the drive to reap its benefits.

The course has often drifted into the realms of politics and economics. This wide reach makes the degree well-rounded and vastly improved my understanding of the modern world.

The most exciting aspect of the degree for me is mooting, the enjoyable act of defending my own arguments in front of qualified barristers, solicitors and judges served at once as a release and a means of consolidating my grasp of the course.

In a nutshell, LLB Law is very much a “you get what you give” gig, but as long as you have passion for the subject, Law is a fantastic course.
