The Avenue Library is open Monday to Saturday during term, and operates services throughout the day.

The Hartley Library is open throughout the week, until midnight for most of the year (hours are reduced, however, during the summer vacation).
* Although the Loans Desk closes at 19:25 most weekdays there is a self-service loans machine in the Entrance foyer - meaning you can borrow books from when the Hartley Library opens, until 15 minutes before the it closes.

The Health Services Library operates a standard set of opening hours throughout most of the year. The Library is open throughout the week, and loans are offered for all but the last half hour of each day.

The National Oceanographic Library operates a standard set of opening hours throughout most of the year. Although the Library is open throughout the week, loans are only available until 17:25, Monday to Friday. 10:00 opening at the weekend will be on trial for the autumn term.

The Winchester School of Art Library is open Monday to Saturday during term - however it operates four different locations, and uses different opening hours for these individual libraries. Library 4 is opened subject to staff availability, and Library 3 is only open on Thursday by prior appointment.
