Where do I return books?

If the Library is closed, then all books can be placed in the returns box or letterbox outside the Library*. The books will be collected by Library staff as soon as the Library opens, and then discharged for you.

If the Library is open then you should take your books to the Loans Desk or the returns slots.

3 Week Loan, 1 Week Loan and Two Day Loan books can be returned to any of our sites (except Avenue), however Reserve Collection books must be returned to the sites where you borrowed them.

* There is no returns box at the Winchester School of Art Library, so you must return books in person when the Library is open.
