Archives & Special Collections
Archives is located within the Hartley Library, but forms a self-contained section in its own right. It contains a number of leading research collections including the Wellington Papers and a world-renowned collection of Jewish material.
Avenue Library
The Avenue Library contains primarily Reserve Collection material to support the School of Humanities.
In addition, there is an audio visual room which houses a significant film collection in both DVD and video formats. There are a number of bookable DVD/video stations on which they can be viewed.

The Hartley Library is the largest branch and supports all the courses based on the Highfield Campus.

Health Services Library
The Health Services Library is located on Level A of the the South Academic Block at Southampton General Hospital. It supports academic staff and students based at the hospital and also provides library and information services to NHS staff.

National Oceanographic Library
Based at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton, the National Oceanographic Library is not only a branch of the University Library, but also - as its name suggests - a leading research library in the World's oceanographic community.

Winchester School of Art Library
This branch supports all the arts courses based at the Winchester campus, from textiles to design and fashion.
The library has a wide range of materials, including books, periodicals, videos and design magazines.
