Searching for Academic Literature
Before searching for literature in our online databases you will need to create an effective search strategy. This saves time and helps you find the most relevant material. If you type a couple of keywords into your database it may produce some useful references. However, if that’s all that you do, you’ll have missed lots of other useful references, and may also have irrelevant material to wade through as well. Searching effectively is a little more involved – but with a few simple tools you’ll find that getting the information you really need isn’t difficult.
