Feedback to the Library

We welcome feedback from you about our services and facilities. You may wish to suggest how we might improve our services, perhaps you have a complaint, or would like to register a positive comment.

We have just started a web-based comments system which you can find under "Feedback" in the "Quick links" section of our home page. This system enables us to follow up your comment and to reply to you at the earliest opportunity. Our aim is to send an informative response within 5 working days.

However, in some instances, we may not be able to give a complete response within this timescale, especially if other Services are involved, but you will be kept informed of progress. You do not need to identify yourself if you do not require a personal response. All comments are regarded as helpful and we will address each one.

You may also submit comments by email, telephone, letter, or personally at any service point. Cards are available in each Library for your use which you can then post in comments boxes which are clearly labelled. All these comments will be taken up in the same way as those submitted via our web page. You can find email addresses and telephone numbers under "About us" and "Contact the Library" on this page.

We will produce information about comments made and action taken, from time to time on our website.
