Closure of New College Library

Closure of New College Campus library and integration of stock and services - key dates:

2 June

All Inter-Library Loan requests, except for the Companion Animal Behaviour Programmes, will be processed at Hartley or other relevant site library; any requests handed in to New College up to 14 July will be forwarded.

15 June

It will no longer be possible to select New College as a site for collection of holds.

4 July

Any holds for collection from New College still outstanding will be routed to Hartley. Holds that have already been received will be available on the shelf at New College till 10 July.

14 July

Any New College items on loan should not be returned to New College but to any of the other site libraries except Avenue.

17:00, 14 July

The Library at the New College Campus will close for public access.

From this point on, if you wish to access material still marked in the Library Catalogue as at New College, you should place a hold on the item and it will be recalled, if on loan, or transferred to Hartley or to any other site library designated as a pick-up point.

We aim to make transferred items available within 2 working days. By the end of September 2006, New College stock will be fully integrated into other site libraries.
