Change to BIOSIS Previews database

There has been a change to the access route for the BIOSIS Previews database - it is now available via Thomson Scientific's Web of Knowledge interface.

This change has happened at extremely short notice, and we're in the process of updating links on the Library's website as quickly as possible. We do apologise for the lack of warning, however the JISC negotiations for the changeover were only concluded at the end of last week, so we've been unable to sign the new licence agreement until now.

In addition, EDINA announced yesterday that they were not providing cover for the transition of the database to Web of Knowledge - so we lost access via that route before being able to subscribe to the new agreement.

Web of Knowledge have kindly agreed to provide us with trial access to BIOSIS whilst our subscription is processed, so hopefully there will be no more disruptions to the service.

About BIOSIS Previews
