Tackling overdue loans: changes beginning in October

Having reviewed past practice and recent experience, the Library is changing some of the ways in which we encourage library users to return or renew items on loan before they become overdue.

The first change begins from 6 October when 2 day loan items returned late will result in an automatic suspension of loan privileges for 7 days.

Further changes are planned later in the month once the majority of stock borrowed over the summer and due early October has been returned. Full details of the changes planned are available from our Loans and Borrowing page.
